Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The sites are large with great views of the lake, but not much shade.

Beautiful Park with awesome views and well-spaced sites. Lots of open areas for the kids and grandkids to roam without bothering other campers. Bike and hike friendly paved roads in the park. Cons; Fire Ants throughout the park. Warn your kids and protect your pets. Watchout for “SCORPIONS” in the showers, yes scorpions. On the shower floor and on the walls and the showers and not well lit. We used a battery powered lantern, bring one. We will be back again and bringing some bug spray!!!

This campsite is beautiful, clean, very well maintained and has all of the services that we needed, including 50 amp service for our RV and water. There was a covered picnic table and a grill, plus a fire pit for those marshmallow roasts.. The campsites are not crowded, there is lots of room between them for privacy, and most of them have trees for shade and a beautiful view of Canyon Lake. We have visited twice and plan to visit again. The only thing we wish had been provided is sewer service right there at the campsite, but they did have a dumping station conveniently nearby, plus public showers and bathrooms. All in all it is excellent.

Absolutely beautiful location!!! Loved the sunrises and sunsets over the lake and mountains.
The whole place looks like it is brand new. Great roads, parking pads, shower houses.
The only thing that I would mention is that the gates lock at 9pm, and the night that we went to the Rodeo we had to park outside and walk in.

Potters Creek I’d one of our favorite camping destinations. The only down side is Canyon Lake is easily 10’ low. Without rain to support the flow it will continue to drop.
The park is great though with paved roads and pads to park on.

Lake views were amazing. Large camping spots with covered picnic tables, decent size grills. Super clean bathhouse. Handicap shower stall was huge.
Friendly staff. Near restaurants, a grocery store and not far from New Braunfels.
Yes, I would definitely recommend!

This campsight was beautiful, spacious, and everyone working was great! The only complaint was the bathroom was a very far walk from our site, and didn’t have soap all weekend, but other then that the bathrooms had flushing toilets and showers and hot water and were very nice for camping bathrooms. And easy access to lake and trash bins! Great camp ground. We’ll definitely be back!
