What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Spacious sites with ample parking for RV and additional tow vehicle or boat etc on paved surface. Some are shaded with trees trimmed appropriately for slides and higher vehicles others are open. Well maintained shade structure with picnic bench, fire pit and bbq. Friendly camp hosts and lots of open space for walking (though no trails) and exploring. Plenty of dumpsters and dump station. We did not use the bathhouse. We'll visit again.

Loved how clean and neat this place was. Great space between campers too. The folks running it were so friendly and inviting. We will be retuning for sure!

This park is definitely one of our favorites. This was our first COE and it did not disappoint. Canyon Lake is beautiful with so much to offer. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to do any activities. It was a last minute reservation and there was one site available for only 2 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back, without a doubt. The attendants at the gate were very friendly, as well as other campers. The park itself was beautiful, and very spacious sites. Our site was pretty level and was pristine. Just like the description, we had water and electric, but no sewer. We stayed close to the lake, but not nothing was available lake front. We will plan ahead next time so we can get better sunrises and sunsets. The weather was a little overcast so they weren't great anyway. Getting to the park was easy and definitely big rig friendly. We had no problem navigating and even backing in to our site. My husband and I both said several times how we wish we could have stayed for a month. We will plan on staying longer next time.

Nice COE park they are just too strict on rules. No entry until 3:00 even if your spot is empty. So there is a backup to get in at 3:00. Then the park closes at 9:00 with a gate blocking the road. You have to park your car at the gate and walk to your campsite if you come in after 9:00. Too harsh!

Variety of open and tree covered lots. Staff was friendly & courteous. Looking forward to return visits there this summer.

Nice people running the park. Security was very good as they monitored all traffic coming in and out. I liked that the gate is closed at 9:00 PM. Clean and the view of the lake was awesome. Good water pressure and a clean dump area. Great experience!
