What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Wonderful campsite! Plenty of space for big rigs. Restrooms were very clean, and campsite was great. I plan on returning soon!

The park is nice nice the physical maintenance is good and ongoing, but the restroom cleaning is marginal. We were there for two weeks and trash (that I or my wife didn’t pick up ) remained on the floor for at least 8 days. The heater in the women’s restroom (in the loop with site 21) was only working sporadically. That may not be an issue again for another 10
Months,
Overall we enjoyed our stay but I felt for as many park hosts as are there some could be dedicated to rest room maintenance.

Potters Creek camp site was beautiful, clean, quiet, and very accommodating. The camp site had a picnic table, cover, grill, ground pit, and water faucet. The days and evenings were quiet and peaceful. The rest room facilities were clean and in walking distance. An added bonus was the hot water in the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed out family camping trip there! We also were in short distance to Canyon Gorge park. We would recommend that activity as well!

Great spot! Hope you get some water soon to fill that lake. The bathrooms and showers were great, pretty dark though if you want to see what you’re doing. Thanks much, beautiful trees to park under and covered picnic table great too.

The site was paved with asphalt and nearly level left to right. Backing in was easy and the length was plenty to accommodate any parking situation. One morning during breakfast a herd of deer browsed along the ravine behind us. If you have children who like long showers a holding tank transfer buggy would be helpful. We ran out of grey water capacity on the fourth day.

The site was gorgeous! Beautiful trees and plenty of room between spaces. The pad was level and we had a great view. The bathrooms and showers were clean but very dimly lit so an extra light helped for showers. Overall, a great trip! Deer and a little fox visited our site daily.

I love this park. The lake is very low and most of the park is closed but we still had an enjoyable time. I camp there several times per year and have had problems with the park staff in the past but this time there were new people working and they were very kind, which always elevates the experience.

Love the area! Peaceful and by the water. You can fish there in the lake, ride your bikes and camp. Will be back in June, I’ve already made reservations.

Wide open spaces, great view of the lake. Site was at a bit of a slope, but was manageable.
Would definitely return again, wonderful park, very quiet and serene.
