We had a great stay at Double Lake camping in our RV. We got a site that backed up to the lake. The trees were trimmed high so that there were no issues with our 5th wheel that has a high clearance. The numbered sites were easy to read even at night. Nice and quiet, nearest neighbors were a good distance away. Very peaceful. Nice lake to hike and the hiking only Lone Star Trail that was very nice. Plenty of mountain bike trails to ride, we made a 14 mile loop. Only issue is that there is not a dump at the site we were on, probably cost prohibitive to build one there so close to the lake. The only dump sites were higher up and away from the lake.

Only got to stay one night but the site was perfect for two people. The fire pit grill was perfect for a cast iron dinner. The site was spacious and right by the lake with the trail. Will definitely return soon to camp again!

The campground is beautiful with plenty of trees. Th bathrooms and showers in the electric and water sites really needs improvements.

The sites were clean. The park hosts were very helpful. The trails around the lake (at least on one side) were uneven and a hazard for young bike riders.

We always enjoy camping at Double Lakes. We tent camp, and the non-electric sites are wooded, and nicely secluded. Plenty of space for multiple tents. Host Shelton is always great, he's friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

This is a great park and one of my all time favorites. I have camped here many times in the past and have always enjoyed it.

The campsite was very inviting, the park hosts were very friendly and helpful, the park itself is beautiful. We didn't feel like our fellow campers were right up against us and we had room to relax and enjoy nature. There was old time hamburger joint just down the road with great burgers and shakes. We enjoyed walking around downtown Coldsprings too.
