What Guests Are Saying
Sowell Creek is praised for its friendly staff, cleanliness, and beautiful lake views, making it a favorite spot for families and friends. Many guests highlight the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, with positive experiences during multiple visits. However, some concerns were raised about low-hanging tree branches and occasional electrical issues, but these did not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the stay.

The restrooms were hot with limited ventilation. There were 50 amp trailers on the 30 amp sites and kept tripping the breakers. Fireworks when it was posted no fireworks due the dryness.

We were at Sowell Creek for two nights & experienced 4 electrical outings. The first one lasted a couple hours.
This was during the July 4th weekend and the park was completely full.

Love this location, we have been here several times. It has a dumping station, but would love if they had sewage hook up at the rented spot.

The people were extremely nice. But the very tall grass everywhere made it difficult walking to get to lake from out camp site. Doesn’t look like it’s been kept up or mowed in a little while

We had Spaces 17, 18 they had good shade and good view of the lake. They are a little tough for larger trailers.

Our spot was really wonderful! The only thing we think need attention is the entry for class A motorhomes. It’s very tight and our passenger mirror touched the signs. Also just alittle tree trimming for branches when entering the park. Other than those two little things, it was a beautiful park and very quiet. We will definitely be back!!!

We stay at the 50a full hook ups, paved level site with shade. The park was well kept, mowed and clean. We stayed 6 nights and will visit again.
We did not use the restroom/bath house so I can not comment.
The only little thing is there is not any fish cleaning facilities in the park.
