What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

Platter Flats is generally a quiet campground with a large equestrian area that several large concrete 50 amp sites. It is our favorite place to camp on Texoma lake.

Very nice park, great amenities for horse camping. Wonderful trails!! Lots of traffic in and out of camp though, cars were driving around even at night.

I am glad to have this gentleman back as the attendant. I know the park stays clean and regulated when he is here.

Unable to use website to switch campsite. Had to cancel one and book another. Even then didn’t let me use golden age pass. Said couldn’t use twice.
