Always a wonderful time at Loafers Bend West! We thoroughly enjoy visiting with our camp hosts, the Barr's, they are a delight to see and spend time with and are always happy and have a smile on their face! We look forward to coming out to the lake! Bring corn for the deer and squirrels, as there is an abundance of them!

Site #55 is overall a great site. Trees were trimmed and not low-hanging. Huge space between campsites. A couple of holes around the picnic table and walkway to the camper could potentially be an issue. We just put something over them, or a piece of wood in them to keep from twisting an ankle. The firepit was not cleaned out but didn't use it anyway. The worse part was trying to swim or fish from the bank, as there are big rocks around the shoreline. These huge rocks are probably there for a reason, but make it extremely difficult walking on them. Recommend swimming from the day-use area to avoid all the rocks. Oh and the stickers! There are stickers everywhere, be careful when walking your dogs they get all in their fur and their feet. They will stick to your shoes and you will then bring them into your camper.

Always enjoyi staying there. Although the campers should respect the restroom area more. By doing there part in keeping it cleaner

The campsite was clean and spacious right next to the water. For tent camping we would most likely stay on the west side and not around all the rv’s.
