Mott Park offers a peaceful camping experience with friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and a beautiful lake setting. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained campsites and bathrooms, as well as the availability of outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking. While some areas could use improvements, such as road maintenance and more trash cans, overall, guests find Mott Park to be a relaxing and enjoyable destination worth returning to.

We enjoyed our lovely view of the lake.
Bathrooms needed to be cleaned and dead bugs removed!
Overall it was a very nice retreat, we will be back! 🙂

It's a good location in the park. Quick access to the lake. Beautiful sunrises! Cons: there is a mulberry tree on the lot that attracted bees & wasps. The lot has a slight decline from the RV site to the picnic table. It made it a little hard for me as I have a disability with my walking. Overall we were very happy with this site in Mott Park. Respectful campers were around us which made it even better. We would definitely camp on the site again.

Had a great Mother's Day weekend at a beautiful spot, #15, with a great view of the lake and decent privacy. Nice shaded shelter over the picnic table and pleasant breeze off the lake. No one was ever at the gate into the park so we just went through without checking in, No security. Grass was mowed on Saturday, which was very odd considering it was a very crowded park over the weekend. Couldn't have been mowed on a weekday before everyone came? The grandkids had a great time swimming at the beach area even though there was almost no sand and the weeds had not been mowed at all. The beach should be one of the first areas cleaned up and ready for summer. The "beach" was the most disappointing thing of the trip. But, overall, a nice quiet park and we enjoyed our trip.

No supervision. People parked wherever they wanted. Someone parked in my spot because someone was parked in their spot. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone to correct the problem. Bathroom was just ok.

We had gone to the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival and left as soon as the band finished. We arrived at the park at 10:10 and the gate was locked. No one had given us a code to get through the gate like most parks do. There are 2 trailers parked by the gate so we had to go knock on their doors and get someone to unlock the gate. We will not be staying there again. Don’t like to have to go knock on a door at night

Beautiful views of the lake but site 5 was quite sloped making it difficult to level our 32' 5th wheel. Roads and sites are old and patched here and there (fresh road tar had just been put down in patches the day we arrived, opening day of the campground). There is no camp host or COE personnel to monitor usage of sites. Gate is locked at 10 pm.
