What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

Park hosts and staff were all great. Close to Ft Worth to see sites if visiting the area and close off the highway. The facilities were OK, had a very large group that weekend that probably overwhelmed staffers. Camp rules should be given out or posted as many of the tent camps that weekend seemed not to have amy camping etiquette. The only drawback was having tent sites with RV sites, at least at this park. Vehicle lights being on into the night shining into other camps as well as quiet time wasn’t observed. That’s not the fault of the facility, but drive arounds by park staff could have minimized. One tent camp even left their fire burning after they left on Sunday, thankfully several RV campers used water to put it out. Good thing it wasn’t a primitive site where water wouldn’t have been available.

We camp every year at Holiday Park on Benbrook Lake. We use the 5 shelters for those that do not have travel trailers.
I love the scenery, and convenience of the shelters.
I would give a 5 star review instead of 4, if the screen on windows and doors were repaired. We have camped every October for the last 15 years and the screens are worse every year.
Our family loves the convenience to Holiday Park and the shelters however, each year we are disappointed that the screens are in worse shape than before. Shame on whomever is responsible for the maintenance

My family and I stayed at campsite 64, its very private compared to the other sites, it has its own drive. There was lots of shade, access to the water plus it has a grill which I wasn't expecting since its not shown in any of its pics. The only downside was people would get confused and come down the drive just to do a u turn in front of our site. Overall I would love to return to the site, my kids loved it.

It’s so nice to finally have courteous and friendly gate attendants! The other couple that used to work the gate were terrible and outright rude.

We were on site 90 and it was a beautiful spot. Water and 30 &50 amp electric hook up was available. Wild life was very abundant. Deer, squirrel, wild turkey and even a raccoon made his self present. We will definitely come back to this park in the future.
