Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

We picked the best two weeks in September to come out to Holiday Texas. The weather was fantastic the lake had water and we caught fish. Came out to say goodbye to the camp hosts that were leaving and greet the new hosts replacing them. All in all a great time as usual.

The lady at the front gate was super helpful and kind. Our pass discount had not been included on our reservation and she fixed it and got us a refund. The newer restrooms down by the screened shelters are nice with plenty of hot water in the showers.

We enjoy this park with our RV. Sometimes the sites are not the most level but we make it work. We enjoy the nature and the deer come out every evening to graze and visit. So peaceful and quiet.

Park was clean and the staff were very helpful. Plenty of deer to watch in the evenings and early mornings. Bathroom facilities were clean and not outdated.

Lower campground is fantastic. Upper campground is in need of work; bathrooms are terrible and there is no water at campsites, even though the pipes are there they have all been capped. Would like to see water at these campsites.
