What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

Very nice. Many deer and turkeys. Different from many COE campgrounds, it is fairy lose to town. A good park for cycling.

Started out with a water problem. Two new pumps installed at the park left the water lines not primed. All worked well before we left. Lucked out with the weather. Beautiful days cool nights for Texas at the end of July anyway. Camp gate folks are great. Always glad to see us. Park ranger came by and was very helpful with the water situation and made sure we were having no problems. This is a great COE park.

The Northern most showers are so hot it burns your skin. And on this trip the southern most restroom had no water.

This is a lovely location and not real crowded. The bathrooms were clean and the check-in folks were all very friendly and helpful.

I paid for water and electricity at my site, multiple days the water was off and on. Most of the time the water lines were full of pressurized air (which is very hard to rv plumbing) and there was no notice when the park was turning water off or when it would be back on. There was no mention of planned maintenance when booking my site. There was a person camped near me that had a different car "visiting" every day I was there. Definitely seemed nefarious. And one of the staff members, a female, was very rude. Overall, the campground is nice, but the experience was not fully nice.

I have been camping at Holiday park for many years with my family. I have noticed that the park has become run down. It needs mowing I was worried about snakes with my grandchildren. I had to move campsites because our table was bench was broken. The lady that runs the front is the rudist lady that has ever worked for this park. Our whole family has stated that she has made rude remarks as we’ve entered the park. I also walked to the waters edge with my 2 little grandbabies with their children’s fishing poles and a ranger told me I couldn’t sit at a campsite with them that I didn’t rent. I explained I rented the one directly across I was just letting them fish for a minute. I have one more stay reserved for the year and I will be finding another park for our families camping. I’m not gonna camp somewhere that treats its customers like this.

Was a very good campsite other than the fact of a lot of ants everywhere and spiders on top of had a hornet the size of my palm inside my tint when I was going to bed.
