What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

We really liked the site we had next to the water. The restrooms need some work and get hot during the day so we used them in the morning or late evening. The staff are always very polite and friendly. The city of Benbrook is close by and has plenty of fast food restaurants. If you bring your bicycles you can ride around the lake and hook up with the trinity trails which will take you to downtown Ft Worth. There is also a stable with horseback riding in Benbrook

We always have a great stay at this park. The light bulb above the shelter door is out and probably needs to be replaced.

Planned to stay overnight and leave on my way truck overheated needed to find a mechanic asked a neighbor camped next to me which he called Friday evening. Extended my stay to find out no one could help. Had to extend my day even longer the volunteers helped moved to a different camp site. My Senior Pass is well used understand that I could get a replacement at Benbrook Park from the gate attendant. Went by and inquired the attendant refused to issue a Senior Pass. Told her that that gate attendant could do that just fill out some paperwork pay a fee she still refused.

We have been camping at Holiday park for more than 30 years. My kids were young when we started camping and now they're in their mid 30's and have kids of their own. This is a great park for camping with the whole family or just my husband and I. This is a great place to relax and unwind. If you're more active it's also a great for biking, kayaking, boating and fishing.
Holiday park is one of our families favorite places to camp.

The setting was great, and the pad was level on space 25. The closest bathroom should have been leveled and replaced years ago. Grass really needed mowing, but that said, the price was right and it’s close. Overall we were happy to stay there. Also one of the two dump stations was out of order.
