What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

Perhaps the prettiest campground I’ve ever stayed in and super reasonably priced! Large sites, right beside Benbrook Lake, great walking/biking paths, friendly host, friendly fellow campers. Only negative was rather primitive shower rooms… push a button for about 15 seconds of water! That would not stop me from staying there again, just a forewarning 😊. Definitely worth a repeat stay!

Very nice campground/lake setting. Did not care for supposedly fellow campers asking if we could take them into town to buy groceries. Also, evening fishermen (partiers) leaving their campfire burning when they left. We extinguished the following morning.

Beautiful lake and lots of trees to keep us comfortable. Since the flooding a couple of years ago, our favorite spot still hasn’t returned to a 50 amp.
This was a quiet relaxing couple of weeks irregardless.

The overall site was in a good location, but the site itself had a water leak that we noticed a few times before while camping in that loop. It appears they haven't fixed it yet. Made for a muddy mess with our dogs and trying to keep them away from the area. We couldn't walk behind our RV without standing in ankle deep water. Hope they fix it before summer!

Campground is close to Fort Worth (20 miles) and near Benbrook, TX where there are lots of options for shopping, dining, etc. Be prepared for noisy neighbors on the weekends and aware of the fact that the gates are locked at 10pm nightly. T-Mobile coverage for 5G Home Internet worked great.
Tried to extend my stay past the 14 night within 30 day limit (I live/work remotely and it's a convenient location for me near DFW and my Public Storage space) ... I was denied, even though the campground was nearly empty - just FYI. Will stay here again because of it's location and price.

I have stayed in all kinds of sites at this park; non-electric and electric. This is my absolute favorite site. It has great views of the lake and minimal traffic.
