Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. Dead tree limbs blocked any view of lake.

The camp site was clean. The staff was friendly. They are dog friendly, which is a big thing for us.

The campground was nice but the bathrooms in the back section of the campground were very poor.

Brand new bathrooms need to have the skylight, that allows more heat in, removed and exhaust fans installed to remove the heat and humidity. The rooms are unbearable on a hot day or night.
The lakes shoreline needs the brush removed to allow for fishing. This is one of the worst lakes to fish without a boat.

The park was relatively clean, but more could be done in keeping the restroom and shower facilities a bit cleaner. I enjoyed the overall experience. My fellow campers were extremely friendly. All this however was overshadowed due to the rudeness and unemphatic attitude of the gate attendant. There was one night where I literally arrived at the gate 2 minutes past 10. Knocking on the door of the gate house resulted in no answer so I assumed the staff member already left. After exploring the entrance and exit areas to see if there was any possibility of getting in to the park, I was incredibly upset to find the gate house staff member was there but decided to ignore my knocking. He only decided to reveal himself after I checked out the road spikes by the exit to see if I had tampered with them in some way. When I tried to talk with him and ask if I could please get to my campsite, he just shook his head without even so much as glance at me. I get the park gates close at 10, but I paid for a reservation and the fact that he refused to even acknowledge me or make an exception after arriving 2 minutes late is just ridiculous.

Been coming here for many years however I will not be returning anytime soon! The people that are working in the office are extremely rude and clearly do not know how to talk to people in a decent manner!! They treat people like they are animals or some one that is wayyyyyy beneath them!

Holiday has been one of our favorite COE parks. It recently had flooding due to rain. That put out a lot of the 50amp sites. We just reserved a tree shaded site and only used one a/c. Hoping with time they get back to normal. It’s a quiet area with lots of walking choices.

It's a beautiful campground. We saw lots of deer in the area. The power and water hookups were great. The bathrooms were adequate and usually clean. Our campsite sloped a bit more than we prefer.
