What Guests Are Saying

Sunrise RV Resort offers pull-through sites, but many guests find the narrow streets and low-hanging branches challenging, particularly for larger RVs. Some visitors have experienced navigation difficulties, leading to damage. While the park may have potential, issues with accessibility and management have led to dissatisfaction among RVers.

We called and made reservations for a pull-through site. The website pictures are deceiving. Very narrow streets, low-hanging branches, and most of the RVers are full-time. This place is a dump!!!
When we pulled in and tried to navigate to our spot with my 40’ RV, we hit a tree limb overhanging our 14' RV, causing a collision due to the very limited turn radius and damaging our AC unit. We were trying to stay clear of a tree branch getting close to the side of the RV. We were on the same roadway that other RVs use to get to their spots. As the pictures show, we were trying to pull into our spot on the provided roadway. We couldn't swing left wide because right across there was another RV and their truck.
We were not the only ones who had problems with this park in navigating with a 5th wheel. Refer to Dawn Dow's (she had to get help from other residents to cut branches to get her RV to the spot) and Rita Marks' review regarding tree hazards. Even though the park creates hazards for 5th-wheelers, according to the terms and conditions, if your RV is damaged by those hazards, it's your fault.
There is no manager on site, but only a number to text.
Avoid this park.

It is a nice quiet RV park.. mostly are people who live there. We were visiting nearby, so we worked for us. Residents of the park are very kind and helpful. Much appreciated bc we needed info to call to check in bc no office. We needed help with trimming branches so our RV would clear. Neighbors were very helpful. We had an inch to spare with our 5th wheel. The tree is too close to the patio and driveway, so I am unable to put out awnings. The park is pleasant, very quiet, and kept clean. Didn't see any children in the park or hear any laughter or music during the 3 day stay.

This was a great place to visit! The scenery of the town has that laid-back, home feeling. The people I met are very welcoming!

The park is well maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly...
I like the fact that you can wash your RV on site, it makes it so convenient to rinse off the salt since they are so close to beach....also the fishing right down from the park makes it very convenient and I cought my first redfish there.
Monthly rates for long stay are very reasonable compared to most parks in the area. I highly recommend this place!

So on a whim I purchased a 42 foot RV. What was I thinking? I was thinking I wanted to get away to the coast for a couple of months in the summer. So I did. I found this Sunrise Rv Resort through a local YouTuber that drives around and Rates all the RV parks in the Rockport, Fulton up to Port A areas. I like the look of this one and decided to go with it. I have to say I loved the RV Resort. It was not too big or too small. The owner takes a lot of pride in keeping the resort up and you will see him every day taking care of the property. There is a nice laundry room and bathrooms with showers that needs a code to get into them which is really nice and safe. The RV resort is maybe one eighth of a mile from the coast perfect for early morning walks along the waters. I would recommend this place to anyone that is staying just for the weekend or like me wants to stay a couple of months. The perks for me, since I work remotely, was that their Internet was stong and fast I was able to connect my Blink doorbell and all the electronics inside without any lag. This allowed me to connect securely to my hotspot without any devices pulling on the data.
