Cedar Breaks is our favorite spot for a quick getaway. The sites are great and the location is perfect.
The only downside to the experience is the terrible condition of the restrooms. They're old and badly in need of refurbishment, but on top of that they're just plain filthy. Our expectations are set nice and low for park restrooms, but these are as gross as any we've encountered, and it's that way month after month, year after year.

Great view and clean site. Stayed for a music festival in town, and it provided a convenient place to stay.

Beautiful scenery and views of lake. Nice 5.8 mile round trip hike to waterfall. Poor signage and no maps available (paper or online) for hike. Dirty bathrooms. Large, well maintained old camping sites. RV pads were small and not level. Will come back!

We've enjoyed camping at this very nice park several times over the years. Recently, our campsite (32) was not lakeside, but on the interior of the loop, where several sites are large and so give more privacy. We were able to put two 9x10 tents in a secluded area about twenty yards behind our covered shelter, and so were away from vehicles, walkers, and kids on bicycles. We've enjoyed hiking on the 26 mile loop around the lake; although, on this trip, I skipped this rocky trail, opting to walk out of the park and over the dam, and take the trail toward Georgetown. You can get all the walking you want this way and, at 72, this path was much easier on the ankles than the lake loop. I strongly recommend good hiking boots and at least one pole if you want to experience the lake loop. Crockett Gardens is 2 - 3 miles to the left from the trailhead and is well worth the hike.
