What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Breaks Park offers beautiful views of Lake Georgetown, level RV sites, and clean, quiet surroundings, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the hiking trails and amenities like personal BBQs and pavilions at each site. However, some concerns were raised about the maintenance of facilities, accessibility for larger RVs, and staff availability during check-in and check-out.

The park hosts were great and let us hold their hawks. We stayed at Site 27 and had a wonderful breeze off the lake and sunsets were amazing. The only downside was the extremely loud hip hop being played by a wake boarder boat but not much you can do about that.

My favorite spot on the lake and everybody is always so friendly and helpful. We have already booked our next camping trip.

We have been visiting this park for about 20 years and love everything about it, except the bathrooms. They're in serious need of upgrading.

It was nice. The bathrooms/showers were in rough shape.

We love this camp ground and have for many years. However, the covered areas are sadly deteriorating. Shingles are missing and huge leaks from the rain had us unable to leave anything without it getting soaked. There are areas where the boards are separating and sagging. It’s is sad to see this kind of decline. The area is still beautiful but the neglect on the upkeep is going to cause the covers to be unusable in the not too distant future. The bathrooms have also been without repairs(sinks, dryers, faucets) and it’s sad to see.

Great location! Close to the store, shopping, and historic Georgetown. It can get "busy" with scouts and youth groups on weekends, so if you have a choice...mid-week camping will provide the most relaxing experience.

Cedar Breaks is our favorite spot for a quick getaway. The sites are great and the location is perfect.
The only downside to the experience is the terrible condition of the restrooms. They're old and badly in need of refurbishment, but on top of that they're just plain filthy. Our expectations are set nice and low for park restrooms, but these are as gross as any we've encountered, and it's that way month after month, year after year.
