What a shame that such a nice park would be overshadowed by poor administration issues!
The main issue was their 10:00 PM curfew. We are not children and we don't need to be treated as such. We were locked out of our site twice because we were unable to make their curfew and had to find somewhere else to stay.
I don't understand why they prefer to leave the campground mostly empty rather then allowing people to pay to extend their stays beyond the 14 day maximum.
No recycling containers are used, I expect better from our federal government!

This is my goto park, when I bring my RV in for repairs at PrincessCraft RV, in Round Rock TX. I always go for a hike to Crockett Garden Falls (the trail isn't marked very well). The campground has good facilities (electric, shower, dump station). Everything was clean and functional (the national parks could learn a lot from this place). The camp host was friendly.

Overall the park is in great location with plenty of shaded sites. The bath houses are not cleaned and need repairs. Many of the sites have pads that need repair.

The park is very nice and late arrival check-in was very easy. It was nice to have the gate code in the reservation email.

My stay was not your usual reason for staying. My wife took seriously ill on 13th of December on our way to spend time with family in Georgia. We were in Schulenberg TX at the time and she was rushed to St. David's Georgetown Hospital and I tried to find a RV camp ground where I could stay for a week or more but only Cedar Breaks had a site and maybe another available. I made the 2 hour trip from Schulenberg to Georgetown. I thank the host and Corps of Engineers for providing a wonderful place to stay while my wife recovered from her illness.
