These campsites have it all…a large covered shelter with picnic table, benches and prep bar beneath, a fire pit, a grill, water and electric hookup. All campsites are large and designed for maximum privacy and space. Lots of beautiful trees and spots with views of the lake. Multiple restrooms, well maintained.

Clean, quiet and close to home. The hard stand pergola that was part of each campsite was a game changer in the inclement weather.

Enjoyed the quiet, clean Park and appreciated the code access to campground area.
The long term/permanent residents at cluttered campsites would be disappointing if we were camping close by them.
ACOE can do better.

They had been closed a full week prior for “maintenance”. I don’t know what they maintained because the bathrooms were disgusting, urine all around the urinals, dead flies and gnats covered everything, one shower in each of the two men’s room areas were broken, and the pavilions at each camp site sorely need new roofs. Our site was unusable in the rain, major leaks all over the place. The roofing tiles are missing, as is the tar paper, which leaves no protection from the rain. Until they get these fixed the wood will continue to rot and cost even more. And the cost to camp went up $4! Use that money to actually maintain this place. As-is, I can no longer recommend this as a place to camp.

I have stayed at Cedar Breaks COE Park in Georgetown for years when I have had appointments in the Round Rock and Austin areas. Every time my stay has been great. I love the park with its trees and the spaces between the RV sites. It is a short distance to all types of shopping and food. One of the best parks in which to stay in the Georgetown/Round Rock/Austin area.

The Lake was down so low we couldn't get a hook in the water from the fishing pier due to the drought, but the camping was great. We saw several deer foraging thru the trees. We love the shaded spaces and the covered picnic table area at each campsite.

Our stay at Cedar Breaks was very peaceful. We enjoyed watching the activity on the lake and going into Georgetown. The restrooms could definitely use updating, though. We'll be back!
