What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Breaks Park offers beautiful views of Lake Georgetown, level RV sites, and clean, quiet surroundings, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the hiking trails and amenities like personal BBQs and pavilions at each site. The Rv campground is clean, the sites are spread out nicely. The park is quiet during the nights. Rhonda at the gate was absolutely wonderful. We will be back.

First time camping in our new RV, the spot was great, the hiking trails were fun, water was close to site and the site area was clean. The park is really close to local HEB, Walmart and Academy so if you forgot anything you can drive about 10 minutes from the site. Only a couple of cons that were an issue. 1) Maybe some posted speed signs to slow drivers down a bit. 2) The restrooms needed some cleaning, It didn't seem that they were cleaned at all the 4 days that we were there. This remark was also posted on a previous review when we were booking the reservations and I thought maybe they just missed a cleaning day but we also experienced the same issues with restrooms not being cleaned. All in all a good trip. We would stay here again.

Close to activities in Austin, and Bluebonnet Festival in Burnet. Sites on back loop are far from restrooms.

We had a two night stay at Cedar Breaks. The campground is nice with large sites and a covered pavilion. My complaint is about the reservation system. We made a last minute decision to visit the Austin area after having been in High Island, Texas. I had checked online and noted that there were many empty sites, so we drove to Cedar Breaks expecting to be able to choose a site when we arrived. Nope. The only way to get in is to make an online reservation in order to obtain the gate code. Luckily, I had a WIFI connection that allowed me to make the reservation while sitting next to the Camp Host at the entrance to the campground. Not sure what the job of the camp host is.....

Clean neat park. We enjoyed our visit. Park has large campsites and friendly staff. We were able to stream with AT&T. They don't have sewer, so we used the bathroom facilities more than normal, but they were clean and conveniently located. Excellent hiking trails. We would recommend this park.

We absolutely love coming to Cedar Breaks. There are tons of trees and the sites are nice and spread out. Site #35 has an amazing view of the lake but is not level with the back of the site quite a bit lower than the front.
