A great park that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere (treed and quiet) despite being close to town. Sites are spaced out nicely. All sites have fabulous pavilions over picnic tables. the trails are great for hiking.

nice quiet park. It did rain all day for us, but we have no control over that. It was a nice break for us on our way home from southern Texas.

We loved our campsite, it was level and the shade was great. We also really enjoyed the covered picnic table.

Campsite was awesome and everyone camping at the time were courteous of their neighbors. Only thing I think they need to change is that the bathrooms were without toilet paper for most of one of our days. Thanks!

This park was once the jewel of Lake Georgetown. We camped there extensively prior to 2004 when we moved out of state. This was our first trip back in nearly 20 years and what a disappointment. The grass was high and uncut, fire ant hills were abundant, pain was peeling off of the cabanas and picnic tables. Shingles were blowing off of the roofs of the cabanas. I know there were 6 trailers that were supposed to be workcampers. The gate was only manned a few hours per day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other "Hosts" drove around a couple of times per day, clipboard in hand, and told those who happened to park on the grass to move. The park overall was very unkempt. So much maintenance has been ignored, I am not sure that I will be returning. So sad.
