Cedar Breaks Park

I love this park. It is always the best. I would add one thing is that if there is an issue while you were at the park, it seems there should be a local phone number to call.

We enjoy hiking, biking, and just walking around the campground. For cyclists, you can ride from your campsite all the way into Georgetown (about 8 miles) on mostly paved paths. Note one section on dirt and a very short part of the ride is on a neighborhood street. It's a good workout and a beautiful ride. Hiking is also easily accessed from the campground. Though we have never done the whole loop (about 26 miles) we've done several sections and enjoyed hiking along the lake. Some of the is rocky so worth being prepared. Lastly, we regularly just walk the two loops around the campground. The park is shady and we always enjoy the lake views. Each campsite has a large, paved, and covered picnic table area, a nice grill, and a fire ring. All of the sites are shaded. The bathroom facilities are dated but clean enough. Development in the area makes daytime noisier than it used to be (sad) but there is still a nice buffer of trees.

Beautiful trails! Very clean park. It feels super secluded but is not too far from town, you are still able to have a signal. With electricity and water right on the campsite, it is so convenient.

I enjoyed my stay at Cedar Breaks Campground. I enjoyed a bike ride to the dam and there was also a great hiking trail. My negative experience was the condition of the ladies' restroom. I arrived on Monday and left Friday morning. It appeared that even after a busy weekend, no one had cleaned the restroom. It was not pleasant, and if I had had access to the cleaning supplies and equipment, I would have cleaned it myself.

We stayed in site 23. It was stated as 55' long. However, our 36' motorhome barely fit on a level part of the drive.
It is a beautiful and park. Hoping for rain so the lake is replenished.

A lovely campground on the lake with large campsites! Our site was clean. We have come here for several years. However, bathrooms are old and not well kept anymore. Hand dryer in the women’s has been malfunctioning for 2 seasons. Not much privacy for showers-I take over a shower rod and curtain to allow some privacy when dressing after my shower. Construction just outside the park means truck traffic and noise at times.

Clean. Nice spacious campsites.

We love this park. It was sad to see how low the lake was. The waterfall we enjoy hiking to collapsed. Everything was so dry due to the drought. The park is still beautiful and well-kept and the hiking trails are wonderful!

The campgrounds need some TLC. Leveling of the gravel around the pads. The urinals in the mens rooms are the scuzziest i have ever seen. The restrooms and showers seem to have not been cleaned in months.
