Always a good experience here. I come twice a year. Volunteer staff was excellent. I had problems with electric and they gave me another site. I will be back in march

The park is in a great location. The lake sits below the campground so you don't have direct access to the water but many sites have a nice view of lake. There are lots of trees which is a plus. Many of the sites are not level and the asphalt is crumbling. Most sites do have a shade shelter. The worst part of the park are the bathrooms - they are not kept clean at all. Water is barely warm.

Corps of Engineer parks are all a blessing as far as we are concerned. We're full-time RVrs and stopped here for 5 nights on our way to our winter stay in south Texas.(28 ft motor home with a towed). All spaces here are water and power only. The pads are asphalt and the picnic tables are permanent and covered. We did have a challenge leveling so look it over good. There is no wi-fi but we had 3-bars on Verizon so hot-spots work well streaming. The lake is beautiful (Georgetown) but I caught absolutely nothing with bait or lures off the bank. The Cedar Breaks provide plenty of shade. The bathrooms and showers are outdated and what you might find at a highway rest stop- ready for an upgrade. The nearby town of Georgetown has all the main conveniences and Austin is a good day trip from the campground. We would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful campground, RV sites well-separated, some with outstanding views of the lake. Pads were not completely level, but close enough. Liked the picnic table & shelters. Restrooms were not super-clean, but adequate. Army Corps of engineer parks never fail to please, and senior discounts are a big plus - great value.

We were in site 33, a back in right next to a cliff overlooking the water. It was a great stay!
We used Verizon and AT&T, both worked well.
We used Starlink and it worked fantastic!

Our spot was great but the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting!!!! The toilets were backed up and the floors had toilet paper all over them. I mentioned it to a volunteer and he asked if I tried the other bathroom. They were both disgusting. Told me someone was coming to clean them The next morning the toilets were unclogged but did not pick up any of the paper on the floor. Not much more effort to sweep up the floor!!! You have such a great spot. Why can't some money be found to modernize the bathrooms. I noticed since our last trip that an effort has been made to fill in the drop offs in a lot of the campsites. Big improvement! Site 10 - Oct 24-27

The park is in a great location with lots of cedar trees. Many sites are very unlevel and the asphalt has been eroded from the edges. What was unacceptable was the condition of the restrooms - they were dirty with trash left in them for multiple days.
