The lake was cool and relaxing, campsite 10 is level, we had a cool breeze each evening. The site was clean. The raccoons didn't get into our outside belongings this time😅

This was our third stay at Cedar Breaks. We have always had an excellent experience for the most part. It’s quiet; hosts and staff are generally very helpful; grounds are meticulously kept; lots of shade trees at the sites and *usually* the restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. This visit was a bit different regarding the restrooms. They were not cleaned the entire four days we were there. We showered in our camper as it was unbearably hot in the restrooms- no fans, ventilation, etc. Granted-this is Texas and it was 100* plus all week, but fans would be a help in there and doesn’t excuse the lack of cleanliness.
That said- we will continue to camp there. Everything in life is not perfect and this was an anomaly for us.

Electricity was solid. No low voltage even though we had 2-3 air conditioners running. Hosts and volunteers were helpful. If you will be out beyond 10 PM you can ask the host for a code for the main gate. Otherwise you will be in for a long walk. Saw raccoons at the trash cans, so don’t leave food out!!!

Like this park. Good camping facility. Lake isn’t great. But I know the lake is a reservoir so it’s a pain to get into due to to the boulders on the shoreline. Will be going back to hike when it’s cooler.

A very quiet and relaxing campground. My wife and I had a great time camping. Close to the city of Georgetown in case any last-minute grocery shopping is needed or restaurants for going out to eat but far enough away to feel like you're in the country. Beautiful lake.

It’s a very nice place unfortunately the gate not being open except on weekends is a bit of a hassle . The Trash in the boat area was absolutely disgusting- vultures everywhere!!!!
The cliff is extremely dangerous although proper warnings -
