Beautiful park well-maintained. Close to Georgetown if you need groceries or to dine.

This is a very nice park within a short drive from the Austin metroplex. It's on a good sized lake, and there were plenty of large trees in the camping area. Many of the campsites, including the one I stayed at, are large enough for several tents, and all have large, sheltering gazebos with tables. The 26 mile trail around Lake Georgetown affords ample hiking opportunities. I have camped at Cedar Breaks Park numerous times, and enjoyed every trip. I highly recommend this park.

The park and lake were gorgeous. It was quiet and peaceful with a great view overlooking the lake at site 25. Only downside for me was the actual site's level. It was a uneven for the tent we had but we made it work. The other downside was that there was no area in our site where we could put up a tent without there being a part that was over a rocky spot. Again, we managed to make it work. Overall though, I would recommend and will come back.

Sites are large, always love the covered pad for tables. And most of all, love the trees.

As usual, experience was good... however rest room appearance and maintenance was not it's usual form.

We love Cedar Breaks Park and have been there several times before. It's a beautiful park and always well maintained. We do have one question, however......If nobody is at the gate house and we pick up our site number off the board that has the combination for getting through the gate to get through to our campsite, what is the reason that we can't have a combination to get through the main gate after 10:00 pm??? We got there too late to call for another number to get through.....We did have a problem with this!!!!

Cedar Breaks is a wonderful park that is both beautiful and relaxing. We would have marked it 5 stars except that when we made an error on our departure date and worked to speedily pack up and head out, the park staff was extremely rude to us. Although it was very clear that we had made an innocent mistake (which we admitted to and were doing our best to quickly correct), they continually insinuated that we had purposely taken advantage and had somehow caused them personal harm. The interaction turned a very soothing camping trip into a very negative experience. I hope that in the future they find a better way to communicate with their patrons.
