Cedar Breaks Park

Most of the sites are pretty level. Stayed many times in our class c with no need to use any leveling blocks.
Nice quiet park with a nice hiking trail system.

We love this park. It was our second time here and I'm pretty sure it won't be our last. Easy access to the lake, going for a bike ride or taking a hike. Close to Georgetown in case you need anything or just want to go out for a nice dinner. The park is well maintained and plenty of space between the campsites.

Very disappointed in the Core of Eng parks on Lake Georgetown. Rangers now interpret the rules that you can only camp at one of the parks for 14days per month. (We are getting our home repaired so moving from one park to another has been very helpful) But now we are kicked out! Rules seem to be inconsistent, we have seen others do it for many weeks now! But to be frank not sure the parks are run that well, bathrooms always seem to need attention, gate attendants are scarce except on the weekends. Will not be my first choice to camp in the future!

Lots of people speeding. With all the camp hosts or what ever they are that are living there you would think they would make more rounds. There was even one camper with a fire going in his pit with the burn Ban in effect. Speeding is the biggest issue. Have to watch your pets and kids while walking. The other issue is all the broken branches are just hanging waiting to fall on a child. Site 28 and site 10 to mention just two. I stopped the camp host in the gray chev pickup and told him about the branch that was just hanging. He appeared annoyed that I stopped him. Said they were broken from the freeze. WELL!!. They need to make more rounds to slow the idiots that cead the speed signs. The five days we were there we saw them twice.

Have stayed here numerous times. It is a beautiful area, but maintenance has fallen off the past few years.

Park was extremely well maintained, and the bathrooms were clean. Incredible lake views. Gravel could be added to transition the parking pad to the surrounding grass, to eliminate multiple tripping hazards.

We found the site clean with a nice water view. The hikining trail was very nice and took you along the lake side.

We came at a perfect season. This place is an absolute gem. Our family camp outing was an amazing experience.

Beautiful park well-maintained. Close to Georgetown if you need groceries or to dine.

This is a very nice park within a short drive from the Austin metroplex. It's on a good sized lake, and there were plenty of large trees in the camping area. Many of the campsites, including the one I stayed at, are large enough for several tents, and all have large, sheltering gazebos with tables. The 26 mile trail around Lake Georgetown affords ample hiking opportunities. I have camped at Cedar Breaks Park numerous times, and enjoyed every trip. I highly recommend this park.
