Easy registration. Call M-F business hours to get gate code if arriving late. Clean site. Easy access dump station. Cliffs to lake are well marked but steep. Be careful. Beautiful views. Clean restrooms. Quiet sites. Excellent!!!

Good experience despite inconsiderate day hikers. Trash heavily accumulated throughout.the first 100 yards of the Goodwater Loop trailhead. Personally collected 2 large bags of trash following a group hike that left the trail heavily polluted.
