What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Breaks Park offers beautiful views of Lake Georgetown, level RV sites, and clean, quiet surroundings, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the hiking trails and amenities like personal BBQs and pavilions at each site. However, some concerns were raised about the maintenance of facilities, accessibility for larger RVs, and staff availability during check-in and check-out.

Good experience despite inconsiderate day hikers. Trash heavily accumulated throughout.the first 100 yards of the Goodwater Loop trailhead. Personally collected 2 large bags of trash following a group hike that left the trail heavily polluted.

The campsite was wonderful, each with its own substantial roofed picnic shelter. We were quite impressed and enjoyed our stay.

basically a very nice place to camp. the streets (or roads) as it were, could use some minor repairs & in some places major work. there could be better use of volunteers to do a lot more to clean up after the ice storm of last year. there are other things that could be handled by volunteers also. but over all we were pleased with our stay at Cedar Breaks. one other thing, TV reception is way better at Jim Hogg than at Cedar Breaks.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Great scenery, clean park and well maintained and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

My first experience at a COE Park. Overall very good. Only complaint is the need for site maintenance. The parking pads are narrow, and there are trees that need to be trimmed. At 028 the camp side pavement is broken along the edge and the fifty is washed out making a difficult and potentially hazardous entry to our RV. Otherwise an enjoyable week. Very quiet, great water views.
