This is a fabulous campground. The campsites are large, spacious, and shaded. Each site has their own covered picnic area! We will definitely be back!!

The campgrounds were clean & well maintained. Our site D39 was right on the water and had wonderful views. It was surprisingly quiet even though the campground was full. Only negative experience was in trying to call the gate during the stated hours to obtain the after-hours gate code. We were unable to get through after multiple days of calling. We had a separate group that was coming in after hours and were worried that since we were checking in on a Saturday, we wouldn't be able to get a code. However, when we checked in the gate attendant gave us the code. Other than that, we would highly recommend it. Being close to services was an added bonus.

Enjoyed our stay during the eclipse. Park employees and volunteers were all friendly and willing to help. The sites are well spaced and come with a fantastic roofed shelter with picnic table. The BBQ pit was well built and swivels so you can adjust for wind direction. There is also a fire pit but we didn't use it. It seemed perfectly adequate for most folks. Water and electric hookup at site but no sewer. There is a dump site near the entrance with two stations so plan accordingly. Trash dumpsters are near the entrance gate so it can be a long walk. The bathrooms were the only real negative. They were adequate but need to be deep-cleaned more frequently. The bathroom maintenance just seemed very neglected. Why is there no liquid hand soap dispensers at the single sink station? During the busy eclipse weekend, we picked up the scent from the bathroom septic tanks. This is a campsite geared for relaxing, boating, and fishing. Very quiet during our stay which was nice. I would recommend it to others but the bathrooms definitely need improvement. T-mobile cell service was mostly two bars the whole time.

Nice campground with covered sheds for picnic table. Many sites were shaded and others had nice views of lake.

The campsites were large, ours had a great view of the lake and the campground felt very safe and secure with a gated entry. The restrooms were dirty, not cleaned regularly and in need of modernization. Old town Georgetown is a must for restaurants, shopping, wine and its history!

The bathrooms are situated weirdly. Not easy access. The bathrooms were also not very clean. Sites were nice and grills. I liked the covered shelters over the tables. I would consider camping here again.
