Beautiful park. I enjoyed camping there. Highly recommend this little gem of a park.

The bath houses were super disgusting... both the mens and womens restrooms had no soap on the sinks to wash your hands, and the showers looked like I would have gotten a bacterial infection just from stepping in it (even with shoes on). Bathrooms need major upkeep.
The park itself is nice for hiking, and the campsites are spacious. It could use a playscape or two for children, though.

I love this campground. There are beautiful lake side campsites and campsites tucked in the woods. Large areas surround each asphalt pad with individual shade canopies. Water and electric at each site

Pretty place, campsites spaced well and fairly quiet. Volunteers were nice and do what they can. Disappointing Army Corp of Engineers cant maintain bathrooms. In 3 days, they were "cleaned" once via barely hosing the inside down, toilet paper and all (which was never refilled). Pretty gross, invest some money, do better. You charge for this.

The bathrooms in front of site #84 were filthy!! We contacted the front office numerous times and no one ever came to clean them. The tiolets were clogged, tiolet paper all over the floor, showers were dirty. They stayed dirty the entire weekend, the cleaning crew did not show up until Monday around noon. The park was near capacity and everyone had no choice but to use the other two facilities. With soo many people using the two remaining facilities, they also became dirty. There were multiple vehicles driving the wrong way. Multiple vehicles driving atleast twice the speed limit. My family had to tell over 6 different vehicles to slow down and be mindful of the children. I did not see one park ranger or employee enforcing the rules or speed limit the entire 5 days we were there. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

I love the park, people, including park folks and the town. I moved spots and donated a hose and another person donated a hose. At the dump station. A few days later both were gone. If a poor person needed it that one thing. But if they were thrown away that is "fubared." I would hope this not a bad policy; because it would be stupid.

Site #070 was wonderful and we loved it. Due to my mom's sudden hospitalization, we needed to extend our stay. The person who took my call to make the change to our reservation was very nice and very helpful. We had to move to #061 and it was not a good site for us. With a 40' motorhome, we were not able to overcome the uneven grade of the site.....and our stay there was just short of terrible. I don't know how to avoid sloped sites in the future. The park itself is very nice.
