Bathrooms were awful. Doors left open so leaves, etc. blew in. Fist shower we tried was barely warm water. Only privacy was in the actual shower stall. Otherwise we liked our site and the hosts were great.

The bathrooms were AWFUL. Doors left open so leaves, etc. blew in. No heat, of course. And lack privacy except for in the shower stall itself. Gotta dry off and get dressed in public!! Yikes. And the first building we tried, the water was barely warm. It was very cold when we were there. Record lows. We did like our campsite.

Jim Hogg is one of our favorite parks. Lots of sites with water views and spacious campsites. It's a great location with access to many amenities in Georgetown and surrounding area. They have recently added 50 amp service to many of the sites (I think the plan it to do the entire park). We do not use the public restrooms or showers so we can' comment.

Very good experience,
Could use dumpsters located in other areas of the park (camping) for convience
Personnel being at the main gate would be helpful

Very nice and clean, quiet but windy most of our stay where we were camped along the water. Safe and easy to access. Close to town but not too close. Definitely would do again AAA

Nice quiet park, pretty views, abundant wildlife, friendly campers. It would be nice to see the host or volunteers more than every couple days.

Too many dogs off leash running up on our dogs. Camp hosts do not enforce the rules. Park looks like a trailer park and people live there full time. Dump station too busy and blocks exit from park when waiting in line
