My site pad was not level…I was not able to level my trailer. Very disappointed that the area was in great need of mowing. With heavy dew & burrs it was not pleasant just walking to the picnic table at my site. Need speed signs.
The location was great, sites were accessible & views the best.

Excellent place to RV camp.
Camp Hosts were hard to find, no signs upon entering where they were. Reason for finding them was to obtain after hours gate code. We were visiting friends in the area and came in after 10 PM a couple of times. We eventually asked someone and they guided us to the boat ramp to find a host, and on the way ran into a park range who called and got the code for us. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

Great campsite - well maintained facilities.
Would be helpful to have more signs indicating a trail to get to the restrooms and a marked path through the forested area.

Park seems to be a Party place on weekends.
During the week when the partying was not going on it was quite pleasant. There seems to be a lot of way too fast driving in the park.
Also quite noisy during the weekend partying.

We enjoyed our stay. The site was spacious and we liked that the picnic tables were covered. We had a good view of the lake and enjoyed the wildflowers and birds.

Beautiful area, nicely space sites. My only complaint, if I were to have one is the fact that there are no trash receptacles at the campsites. You have to walk or drive to get rid of trash.
Would certainly stay again!
Thanks

It was a great time with the exception of the grass not mowed and had to walk around in the tall grass. Other than that, the host that greeted us was great!
Thank you

This was our 4th stay at JimmHogg Park. Overall a satisfactory experience. But it does seem that there is a lot of maintenance that has not been performed over the past two years. The asphalt pads at many of the sites have erosion around them, mostly along the edge where f the living side of the camper creating trip, slip and fall hazards. The roadway surfaces are broken and filled with potholes. All of these issues have been present since I was first in the park two years ago and have gone untouched.
The work in progress at the dump station is a great improvement, having two dump points will help relieve the waiting line on busy mornings.

The park itself was okay. No hot water in the showers. Biggest problem? The camp host didn't do anything about the rave happening in campsite 76. We gave up at 1 a.m. and left. The two mini suns (extremely bright led lights that lit the entire loop) were ridiculous. The 25+ people in the campsite beyond annoying. The drunk scream singing of Delta Dawn over and over for hours was unreal.
