The park itself was okay. No hot water in the showers. Biggest problem? The camp host didn't do anything about the rave happening in campsite 76. We gave up at 1 a.m. and left. The two mini suns (extremely bright led lights that lit the entire loop) were ridiculous. The 25+ people in the campsite beyond annoying. The drunk scream singing of Delta Dawn over and over for hours was unreal.

Contactless entry is a nice feature. Site was clean, well maintained. Dump station's recent improvement is nice. Stayed midweek so not as busy as the weekends.

While I enjoyed my visit, I was very disappointed in finding most of the RV spots were located so far from the water. While I like the privacy of the woods, it would have been nice to at least be able to see the water. Also being a senior it would have made it easier for my husband to fish.

The camp host spot at the entrance was very trashy.
And the grass needed to be mowed all over the park.
We loved seeing all the deer

Very nice park. Lots of places to bike ride. Very clean. only negative I have is that the asphalt for the camper pads is old and breaking away. Kinda dangerous for twisted ankles

I stayed in site #58. That site backed to the water and no neighbors super close by. My friends were right across from me, which worked out perfect.
I can recommend Catfish Parlour, lunch or dinner and you are very close to Georgetown/Austin for Rudy's and other restaurants. Lots of small towns near by with lots of history. I highly recommend this COE park.
