We enjoyed a great weekend of tent camping at site 113 and were fortunate to have perfect weather during our stay. The maintenance crew apparently had worked extremely hard to get the grounds ready for visitors after a freeze a few weeks earlier had caused catastrophic damage to many of the trees in the campground. Thanks to the employees of Jim Hogge for making our stay a memorable experience.

Good sites near lake. Watch out for sites with trees. Any windy weather and it can scratch up your camper. They aren’t pruned.

Very nice campground. All sites have a nice shelter. Even though you're close to civilization you feel like you're in nature. Our site was very level and had a nice view of the water. Campground was clean.

We really enjoy this park. We've stayed here a few times and will be back next time we are in this area of Texas. Quiet, good size campsites, decently level and close to grocery stores and restaurants

The lake is beautiful but the facilities are in terrible condition. The showers have no hot water and are on 30 second push button timers. We're going back to Bastrop next time.
