Good site with plenty of room. Site pad is not level side to side. Water hookup is quite a distance from camper. I had to go buy an additional hose to connect. Hookup was more than 50 feet from my connection.
Park is nice and well maintained. Unfortunately only one dump station, which can cause delays leaving in a park this large.

I liked my time here and plan to return. My site was great. The campground in general needs maintenance but things worked OK. The hosts and volunteers were easy to work with and obviously working hard.
My biggest complaint is that at least in some places they advertise “hot showers.” Ha! Cold water in a cold bathhouse. Maybe OK for summer but bitter in January.

Campground hosts were useless. A dog got loose, was secured by other campers and turned over to the hosts. Shortly after they got the dog, and before the owners were found, they simply released the dog because they felt it was aggressive. So, they released an allegedly aggressive dog go to wander the campground and potentially endanger other dogs or potentially people? Ridiculous.
The freezing weather broke the water supply faucet. Never got fixed, had to work off tanks. Nothing was insulated so not surprised it broke. Not well managed by whoever is supposed to be in charge. Park host was as useless as the campground host.
Lot’s of ‘random’ folks coming and going from the park it seems.
Nice campsite, in spite of water situation….luckily that happened late in the trip.

The campground was clean and well kept. We arrived Jan. 1 so there was some confusion with access codes and the dumpsters were well used but the camp hosts did an excellent job of keeping the mess under control. Campsites are large and the pavilion/picnic table was very nice but keep in mind that the ground is rocky in places. There were a lot of deer in the campgrounds at night and a lot of campers walking in the mornings. An added bonus is that there is a nice grocery store just a little bit outside the campground. It's definitely a peaceful place to stay.

Disappointing that the staff fee booth staff is now volunteers and they can't do anything. We have worked at a USACE park for over 10 years and every one around us has tried volunteer for both cleaning bathrooms and fee booth and it doesn't work.
Our site was extremely sloped (couldn't tell that in the pictures). That would be nice to include that in your description of the site.

Everything was wonderful for our annual New Years trip with friends. Our first try to this park. We volunteer at another COE park and we’re very impressed with the cleanliness, staff, layout of the park and the views. Quiet and deer right behind our campsite every evening. Love the pavilions at each site.

This is a very nice park. We found making reservations and the check in process to be quite easy and accommodating. The spaces between the rv’s offer privacy at most sites, some more than others. We were not camped on the reservoir, but in one of the upper sites, which was great. Lots of places to walk your dog. Being self contained, we did not visit the rest rooms, so have no opinion on those. It’s close enough to Georgetown to experience some very nice restaurants.
