This New Year’s Eve getaway was our first time camping at Jim Hogg Park. The campsites were great in spite of needing some repaying of many of the parking pads. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Good campground. Restrooms were in need of cleaning. Mens shower in the 30Amp campground had no hot water. Went to the shower in the 50amp campground and it was much better, but actually too hot. Both water heaters need some adjustment. Good trails and facilities otherwise.

Jim Hogg is a beautiful RV park. Lots of peace and quiet and dark skies for star watching at night. The lake is full and has lots of activities to watch or do.
