Rock Creek Camp & RV Resort

Our family has held its reunion here for 7 years. We were concerned when we learned that the property had been sold and under new management. Our concerns were laid to rest once we arrived.
They are definitely in the middle of updating the property but we did not feel like we were in a construction zone.

The reunion hall has been given a facelift and updated with new appliances. They have also added a dishwasher that will be very useful.

Cabin #6 was the cabin my husband and I have always stayed in. It too has been updated. Perfect cabin for a couple to get away for a weekend or an extended stay. They have added WiFi throughout the property making it easy to “work from home” a possibility. The full size appliances make preparing meals easy. Loved having the Adirondack chairs on the porch. Each cabin also has their own picnic table.

The kids loved the water trampolines and the swimming area made for a great place to relax for those that just wanted to float.

We came two days in a row and used A day pass for the pool! We have a 3 and 7 year old and this was perfect! Lots of space to play and sit but not too big that I couldn’t keep up! The owners were so kind and welcoming and their store had everything you need plus some great shopping finds! We will be back!

This place used to be a good place to have fun with your family at and a place for fun. However; it started going downhill a few years ago whenever I got bed bugs from one of the cabins. Then they destroyed a bunch of cabins and put up a wooden fence crowding a bunch of people together with RV’s basically at your cabin doorstep and the RV’s and Campers looked pretty crowded to each other. The cabins were also bent out of shape too with the showers being bad and many other things. With this being said if you want to have a good time maybe don’t go here unless things change soon!!!

This place is an awesome place to stay even for one night. Access to the lake. Customer service was amazing. People here were great and hospitable. Pool was amazing as well as so many amenities. You can grill and picnic table all over. Even bar tables around the pool. Grills all over and wood nearby to grab. Nice fishing spots even at night. Will come back.

We had a lovely stay at Rock Creek! They’re doing a lot of renovations and it’s going to be even better once done! The pool area was PERFECT for adults and kids! Lots of shaded areas as well as areas to get sun. The RV sites are a little unlevel but that’s expected. Highly recommend a spot that backs up to the lake! They have a huge Texas flag that makes for really beautiful photos.
