This was a wonderful park. Beautiful view. Quiet and large camping spots. Our dogs loved it. Wildlife was abundant.
We were there 3 days in a motorhome with a pull through site.

I made a reservation at Dana Peak for 3 nights and 4 days. The site was just perfect for a tent. We truly enjoyed everything this park has to offer.
PROS: (1) Site has electricity and water hook ups, which is truly a blessing because my wife and I use a CPAP and we were hoping the site we picked had in fact both utilities functional. (2) Location from the rest of the park, and the fascilities ie Bathroom, showers, beach, etc. was very convinient tduring our stay. Big +
CONS: (1) The bathroom in general can use more attention. There were a substacial amount of trash in and around the bathroom/ showers by the tent camping sites. There were no toilet tissue (even though everyone is supposed to bring their own) the bathrooms were not swept nor clean during our entire stay. The shower can use some serious scrubbing. Is a shame the shower is well build and painted, great flloor and wall tiles, but it is not mantained at all, The shower walls will confirm my comment.
Other than the fascilities, the park is well mantained and in excellent shape and the personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. will definetly stay again and recommend this park to friends and family.

It would be helpful to have a separate lane to enter the park for those returning after a trip out of the park. The line was really long to get back in.
