What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek offers a beautiful, relaxing environment with friendly park hosts and ample space for family activities, making it a great spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities and scenic views of the lake, along with enjoyable playgrounds for children. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of the campground, including uneven sites, overgrown grass, and the need for repairs, which detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

The bath rooms were the worst ones we as a group have ever seen, hell old is ok but Nasty is not acceptable, that seemed to be the topic of conversation between our group for the weekend. The sweet gum balls made for a trip hazard and by the time our visit was over we were exhausted from the all to frequent slip and fall from the abundant sweet gum balls. I can say the views are nice but it is hard to be happy with the nasty bath rooms and the sweet gum ball trip hazard.

Beautiful campground. Spacious sites with mature pines. The restroom near site 59 was the worst I've ever seen. Raw sewage was backing up from under the men's toilet. Bathrooms were not cleaned between Thursday and Sunday morning. When I questioned the camp host, she said restroom cleaning was contracted out. I guess they had the weekend off. I had to request toilet paper. Please, please, please hire someone to take care of the restrooms. Obviously, the camp hosts don't check on them.

This is our second time at Mill Creek and we love camping in the tall Pines. Over the weekend when the park filled up we had problems with the 30 amp service.
The voltage dropped significantly and we had problems running our air conditioner.
I am pretty sure the bathrooms don’t get cleaned daily, as when we first arrived, they were the filthiest bathrooms I had ever been in.
The paved sites need some TLC, but at least they were not gravel.

One overnight stay on a Saturday. Full as expected. This CG is in need of repairs. Our site's asphalt was terrible, deep crevice that made difficult to move a transportation wheelchair (unexpected surgery on a foot, wanted to get to TX for the Eclipse). The Gate attendants where a bit on the sour side. Rules where not followed nor enforced (cars, trucks, boats parked anywhere there was space)
For overnight will return, not to spend a few days until it's worked on.
AT&T Signal low, 1-2 bars.

This was our 1st time staying here and we loved it except for the bathrooms. They were disgusting and we saw a truck stop on our 3rd day to sweep the stuff off the floors but then the person just stood at their truck. Considering we tent camp and our only option was to use their restrooms, I'm not sure if we would come back for a 2nd stay.
