What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek offers a beautiful, relaxing environment with friendly park hosts and ample space for family activities, making it a great spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities and scenic views of the lake, along with enjoyable playgrounds for children. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of the campground, including uneven sites, overgrown grass, and the need for repairs, which detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

Beautiful park also very quiet and clean. Our spot was right by the water and was a great place to watch sunrise and sunset. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the shape the site pad was in. VERY rough and not level at all. If you have a bigger rig, you might reconsider spot 32.

Mill Creek has always been one of the nicest parks on Lake Sam Rayburn. Especially if you have kids. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a spot to trailer camp or tent camp.

I know due to high water but limbs, pallets everywhere. Dogs allowed on beach area and were running loose. Bathrooms were horrible. Dirty, lids were in the floor, no locks, most had no paper. Will not be going back to Mill Creek unless cleaned up and maintained

Really nice park, great for kayaking! BUT the restrooms are very dirty, and the one closest to our campsite was in poor condition with stall doors that won't close or latch & lights in the shower area not working.

I have stayed at Mill Creek park several times, & I can’t recall ever having an unmemorable experience. The park is always manicured, restrooms clean & always have TP, boat ramps are easy to access, electric & water always works, & the camp hosts are very friendly, & they seem to genuinely care. The park seems to be pretty quiet, & Definately a family friendly enviroment. I bring my kids & grandkids, & they love camping there! Many of the sites I pick have really good access to the lake, with a great place to park my boat at my site. I give this park two thumbs up! Definitely going to return several times a year.

The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. They were filled with dead bugs, overflowing toilets, mud, and sand. There was no soap with the sinks. One bathroom didn't even have a working sink. While the park is beautiful, I would never stay here again.

Busy camp area but quiet at night. Beautiful lake views drove to Lufkin to get famous burger at Rays drive in. Rays special just like 10 years ago. Worth the hour drive
