We stayed for 2 weeks at a site (#24) near the swimming area. These sites are very close together and crowded so no privacy to speak of. However, we found pretty much everyone was nice, respectful and quiet. When we return, and we will, we will stay in another area of the park where there is more room to spread out and enjoy the day.
The best part of this trip was the FISHING. Even from the bank (we have no boat) the fishing was outstanding.

Been going to this park for years and this was the worst experience ever. So many people so inconsiderate of other people. Whole group came and played volleyball from 11pm -1:30 am. This is during quiet hours that is in your terms of use here. Other groups left trash all over the swim area. I would hope you don’t do that at home why here. Definitely looking for bee parks to start going to. Won’t continue to come here when the rules are not enforced at all.

My family loved this spot! The space was kept up and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. We took lots of walks and played many yard games. It was also not too far from a few hiking trails.
Something to be prepared for is A LOT of pollen! We had yellow pollen over everything! Sprayed everything down when we got back home. That being said, none of us had any allergy issues there. Also, ants were an issue so you may want to bring some spray and insect bite cream. It's nature. It was very relaxing. We will be going back!

The sites are not even, so be prepared to possibly Jack your trailer extremely high on one end. But if you know which sites are even, then you’re good. That is our only complaint. It’s perfect fishing, sunset views, and very quiet. There’s a little restaurant/grocery store right outside of the park that we ride our bikes to. Great little swimming area!

This was by far our least favorite experience. We were on site 66, the RV pad was so horrible and impossible to level our camper on. We had no hanger for a light or our trash. There was a picnic table but unlike most of the other sites it did not have a cover over it, which provided no shelter from the rain. The bathrooms were okay, but the shower was awful, it was push button to start and only lasted maybe 10 seconds at a time, not to mention the shower nozzle was not adjustable and only sprayed a mist so washing your hair was a tremendous task. The park seemed to be full, which wasn’t a big deal however the street was overwhelmed with trucks and boat trailers which made traveling the roadways challenging. We were supposed to be here for a week and left after two days. One thing that we did find very helpful and appreciated greatly was having hand soap at the dump station, I wish more parks did this.

Gorgeous lake. A lot of people just driving by sightseeing 10 feet from your camp because spaces can be close to the road. Friendly people. Watched otters play and fish right by lakes edge. Good fishing. Some uneven spaces and ground but overall we had a lovely weekend.
