Stunning landscape and the park is super well maintained. Standard electric and water at our camp pad made life a breeze. It was too cold for swimming but the nighttime sky was amazing. Absolutely enjoyed our two night stay and would visit again in a heartbeat!!

#88 was a step down from the trailer site to the picnic table. need steps of slope. Its a hazard coming out of the trailer

I grew up as a kid and my family would go camping and fishing at the corp of engineers parks. The parks
and campgrounds were always maintained and and cared for , the parks always had gated access and personel
to attend to the entrance. No longer is the park entrance maned , and the people that have contracts to clean the restrooms and showers do a very poor job. no park patrols. The facilities are showing signs of age and maintenance is not being done. The on site park host do a respectful job and are very pleasant.

A really nice clean campground, but the water in the bath houses was very cold.

Very nice park. Not many hiking trails. The park host did a great job keeping the area picked up, however, visitors need to keep in mind that everyone is there to enjoy the park and they should be disposing of their trash appropriately. Anyone caught littering in the park should be fined and required to pick up trash for several hours.

Such a beautiful park. Had a great time fishing even though the weather water level was low. We plan on going back soon!

First time on Sam Rayburn Reservoir,I found the park to be very well taken care of and very clean. Being solo the park attendant checked on me occasionally to see if I needed anything and told me where the fish were being caught. really enjoyed my stay and will be returning soon.
