The park was quite, clean and just a pleasant place to stay. The park hosts were friendly and took care of any needs we had.

Our campsite was very clean and mowed. The site was pretty level for camper. I never used the ladies room but I went to the showers. Water runs 10 seconds then you push a button to run another 10 seconds. It needed cleaning and it was not air conditioned. Playground was nice. Kids enjoyed it. Park does not have a designated swimming area. You can swim wherever you want. We went out in the boat and jumped in.

The electrical system needs boosting. On a holiday weekend, like when we were there, when there's a lot of demand, we kept having a breaker blow.

It would have been better if it was not for the inclement weather. No fault of the park

we have been going to this park for years and I am disappointed in how the park has been going down hill so much! Some of the attendants are very rude. the park needs updates on the electric boxes because all you can run is your air conditioner and nothing else without the breaker going off then you have to go throw it back on even during the night! The grass is so deep your fur babies get stickers in their hair and get so wet when they go out! The pads you park on for your RV needs updated! Some of the picnic tables needs repair!

I've been camping at San Augustine Park for over 30 years, and we just wrapped up another great week there. As always, the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere make it a favorite destination for our family.
During our stay, we did experience an issue with our electrical box losing one leg of power. Thankfully, the current team managing the park responded quickly and professionally. They had the box replaced with an upgraded unit by the next morning, which we truly appreciated.
That said, it's worth noting that there are still many of the older square electrical boxes throughout the park that are likely due for replacement. Upgrading these boxes should be made a priority to help prevent future issues and avoid potential damage to campers’ equipment.
We love this park and want to see it continue to improve and thrive for years to come.
