Our 1st time here. Very clean campsites .. heck, everywhere!, & beautiful! Rode bikes, sailed, had campfires with friends, & walked. Even had clean bathrooms with showers.
Only reason I knocked off a star is that a sign in the window of the front gate ‘booth’ saying ‘Go (Here) for Help’ would be really helpful. After someone pointed out the camp host, we saw her out & about EVERY day (she did a great job!). We’ll be back.

Pleasantly surprised that our campsite had been prepared for our arrival. Campground attendants had cleared the area of pine straw, sticks, etc. The restrooms were spotless. We were the only campers on our side of the park and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The park is well maintained and we had a waterfront site which allowed us to watch boaters and waterfowl. Highly recommend the campground.

Beautiful & peaceful location by Lake Sam Rayburn for camping/RVing. Lots of opportunities for birding, photography, fishing and boating. Not very busy at this time of year and everyone I met was friendly. Going back!

Very quiet and beautiful place, although the lake has many turtles that eat the bait of the fishermen.

Site was awsome and entries are good. Had issues with the 30 amp breaker feeding the camper. Our camper doesn't draw 30 amps and the breaker kept tripping. I think the breaker is just worn out. Also the faucet had evidently not been used in a while and the wayer smaller like rotten egs for about the first 50 gallons of water. Site is beautiful, easy access for a 40' camper.
