What Guests Are Saying
San Augustine Park is praised for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a peaceful getaway for campers. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities, including the restrooms and showers, as well as the scenic views of Sam Rayburn Lake. Some areas for improvement include the need for additional electrical upgrades and more frequent grass maintenance, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Site was awsome and entries are good. Had issues with the 30 amp breaker feeding the camper. Our camper doesn't draw 30 amps and the breaker kept tripping. I think the breaker is just worn out. Also the faucet had evidently not been used in a while and the wayer smaller like rotten egs for about the first 50 gallons of water. Site is beautiful, easy access for a 40' camper.

We were charged for 3 days that the park had no power or water because we didn't show up. We were told we wouldn't be charged and the rest of the week was refunded but not those 3 days.

We always enjoy our time at the park! The only thing I would like to see is improving the electric boxes for more amps for larger RV's! Like the peace the park offers for old people!

Nice shaded site, uneven and required blocking to stabilize RV. Great boat ramp and dock. Good thing we scoped out sites in advance as the office was not open the full week we were there. Never saw the camp host. Had some electric down time taking the majority of the day to repair. Local store is close but only open in weekends. We loved the covered concrete picnic table and fire pit. Overall we enjoyed our time at the park.

Enjoy staying at this park. Close to the part of the lake I like to fish. Lots of wildlife to see in the area.
