We always enjoy our stay at St Augustine. The only thing I am disappointed in is the lack of funds available to have someone at the entry and shower house was not very clean. That I am sure is because of no one available to clean on a regular basis. We need to voice the need to keep our tax dollars here in the USA. Keep our parks running and hire people who want and need to work.

The park is a nice family vacation area. The kids loved riding their bikes and playing on the playground. The restrooms and showers are not clean. I don’t recommend using them.

Beautiful campground!
However, there are No dumpsters near any of the camp sites. They are located at the dump station. Highly inconvenient if you’re in a class A like we were. There is one medium size trash can at bath room near boat ramp. That quickly became full & was never emptied the 5 days we were there.
Bath rooms were never cleaned while we were there, and apparently had not been cleaned for some time.
Beautiful camp ground, but we won’t be back

This was our first time here. The park was quiet and fairly nice. The web site would not let us book the first 3 sites we wanted to stay in. Not sure if it was due to electric issues or dead leaning trees but some maintenance issues are apparent around the park.
We are easy going, enjoy walking and riding our bicycles so we really enjoyed staying here.
The lake is beautiful and we are planning another stay soon.
