What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Sandy Creek was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time there. (Excluding surviving our first tornado warnings as RVers. π) We had a problem with our electric connection and the host was immediately responsive. We will be going there again.

The campground was great. The weather was not good for a few days but we made the best of it. We met some campers that were new to this park. They were impressed with the park. We visited with the park hosts that we had met on previous visits.

We were in Loop A , adequate campground, this is based solely on that loop. Sites were clean well spaced apart. NO interaction with any campground personnel staff throughout our stay. However, while we were here there was a tornado warning and we sought shelter in the Bath house which should be condemned! The roof leaked so bad that the water was running down the walls and over all electrical fixtures, along with standing water on the floor.

Beautiful campground with spacious sites. Shower and bathroom is a bit dated, but overall we had a very pleasant stay of 3 nights.
