What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Spacious, quiet campground on the shore a lake. Sites are asphalt and level. Good hiking at nearby Martin Dies State Park. Great all-you-can-eat fried chicken at nearby Woodville

Beautiful park. Well spaced sites. Could use another bathhouse.

Sites are spacious and clean. The first site we picked and reserved, wasn’t ideal for us so we canceled and rebooked another site while
I’m the park. There was a lot of fishing happening too.

Camp hosts very helpful. Beautiful views. Close to Jasper but still quiet. Showers did not drain well and womens side was only cold water.

Nice large level spots, covered picnic tables, great views of the lake. Drove through park and picked our site and booked online. Would surely stay again if in the area! Close to two small towns with restaurants and grocery stores if needed. We ate at Elijah’s, good country cooking. Get the chocolate pie!
