What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Camp hosts very helpful. Beautiful views. Close to Jasper but still quiet. Showers did not drain well and womens side was only cold water.

Nice large level spots, covered picnic tables, great views of the lake. Drove through park and picked our site and booked online. Would surely stay again if in the area! Close to two small towns with restaurants and grocery stores if needed. We ate at Elijah’s, good country cooking. Get the chocolate pie!

We have a popup and our sight was extremely far from the bathroom. We were in sight 8 which appears to be outside the park. Inside the park is nice and well maintained but be sure you dont pick the first 9 spots. Many of the sights are on the lake.
Our sight was not cleaned at all. I felt like I just pulled off the road instead of paying for a sight

We stayed in site 14 with a 44 foot toy hauler pulled by a Ford F450. This site has plenty of room for RV and truck. It also has room on each side of the site where our puppy had plenty of space to play chase and go for leashed walks. A partial view of the lake is very nice. We absolutely love this park, so many areas to walk, even a couple of trails thru the woods; restrooms are old, but clean; plenty of dumpsters for trash. Road in to the park is curvy, single lane and a bit bumpy, so proceed slowly. Cell phone service (AT&T) was very good. We’ve stayed here numerous times and enjoyed each stay. Lowe’s, Walmart, etc are about 12 miles away in Jasper.
