The area was clean and watching the dozens of deer walking around close is really nice!

I have camped in alot of Corp of engineer parks, but I think this was my least favorite. The camp sites were extremely close to each other and most had very little to no shade... when it's 100 degree outside that really matters. There was NO way to enter water from area 1 camp area. There are big boulders blocking entrance into water and it was a loooooog way to swimming area. Not walkable. I think each camping area should have a swimmng area and bathrooms close by. At $36 a night..it was a big No for me. May give loop two a try before I completely swear them off.

Campgrounds are clean, volunteers were extra helpful. Shaded spots, play ground was shaded. Very enjoyable weekend

We really loved this park. It's quiet and not over crowed. The gate workers were extremely pleasant. This is on a beautiful lake. Our only complaint was maintenance. It seems as though there isn't much being done around the park maintenance wise. The grass has not been mowed in clearly some time. The shower house set up is nice, water was hot, and the second bath house is air conditioned....but again...the bath houses could have used a little sprucing up as well. Ants were awful (got in our cars and trailers) so bring poision with you.....which again I believe is due to lack of maintenance. This place would be almost perfect if someone would put a little TLC into it. We will likely visit again to see if things have improved.

Very nice quite park. Only issue is most of the bathrooms were closed and even though they had a/c units they were not running.

First time staying at Alley Creek. Stayed at site 225. We loved it and will absolutely be back. Small park but very nice and quiet. Very well patrolled. Saw Sheriff come through couple of times, park ranger, maintenance person and person from check in office also. Very impressed.

We really enjoyed our stay, and loved watching nature. The fact that everything is paved was very nice. Our kids loved riding bikes, fishing, and swimming. There were ants, but not as big of an issue as discussed by some people. I did not like how the pictures online as they deceived you on the location of our site, but it worked out well anyways. Public restrooms were absolutely foul and no one should ever attempt a shower there. We didn’t plan to and just looked out of curiosity and wished we never did. The amount of mold and filth from the public facilities alone should be a health risk and they need to be shut down till properly handled.
