Alley Creek Camp is praised for its beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and well-maintained campsites, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many enjoyed activities such as kayaking and fishing, and noted the peaceful environment. We stayed in site 1 spot 109. The site was spectacular, unobstructed view of the lake and lots of privacy when sitting outside! Beautiful park. Saw herds of deer every morning and evening. Saw several bald eagles, kingfishers and other beautiful birds! Highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful place but lots of very small ants will work their way into your trailer. Need seven dust to put around tires & stabilizers.

A clean, well-appointed park with breath-taking views of the lake. Close enough to Jefferson and Avenger to sight-see and enjoy a great meal. A little tight for a big rig, but once in the site, there's plenty of room. We'll visit again!

The park was clean, the Ranger staff were terrific, the ants were horrible.

This is a beautiful park with lots of tall trees, lake views, and deer. That being said, the sites are a bit too close for my taste, and it would have been nice had the Recreation.gov site mentioned the ant problem. Our coach was infested within the first twelve hours, and we spent the next four days battling the problem. Finished eradicating them after we got home and completely emptying the coach and treating for them. We both also got multiple chigger bites, and my wife came home with a tick attached to her. Also, the one lone hiking trail was completely lost in the underbrush, but considering the bug problem, that's probably a good thing. If you take all necessary precautions, you can enjoy this park.

The RV sites don’t have sewer connection but that’s ok. Dump stations are close. Most sites are right on the lake and it is beautiful. Water is warm and the lake was shallow. We could easily walk out in the water for a hundred yards. Great for boating with boat ramp very close. The restroom could use some maintenance. Some shower heads missing in some stalls and lots of spiders at the entrances. The lots are nice but some roads are narrow for maneuvering a large RV. More signage would be helpful. Beautiful park with lots of friendly deer roaming the park in the evening that made us book an extra night at our location. Great place to camp.

The sites were well maintained and workers were so nice and checked on us regularly. Site was nice and shady E229. Some improvements need to be done to the bathhouses but sure this is a budget issue. Always felt safe at this campground! Lots of deer to see too.
