What Guests Are Saying
Alley Creek Camp is praised for its beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and well-maintained campsites, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many enjoyed activities such as kayaking and fishing, and noted the peaceful environment. However, there are concerns about an overwhelming ant problem, maintenance issues like overgrown grass, and occasional restroom cleanliness that need addressing for an improved experience.

Restrooms were locked or extremely unclean. Staff was rude.

We were first timers and we absolutely loved Alley Creek. I’ve already made reservations to go back when it’s warmer to take advantage of the lake and swimming. This is one of our top 5 places.

Beautiful campground surrounded by tall pine trees. Short drive to Jefferson where exploring some unique Texas history is a must, and nearby Caddo Lake is a great paddling experience. Caught several fish on the shoreline at our campsite. Only issue was an ant invasion, so treat your site when you arrive. We will definitely return!

Loved this park. The spots were clean and well kept. Great view of lake. The hiking trials were a little hard to find but the recent ice/snow storms had a lot to do with that. I’m sure they be cleaned up quickly. Bathhouse was also super clean and water was hot!! Greeters at gate were super nice and very helpful. Will stay again.

All the camp hosts were excellent! The grounds were beautifully kept and nice cement RV slabs. Will definitely come back!

Sites are great! The bathrooms and showers could use a little care. Other than that, we had an amazing time.
